Three-Universities Joint Seminar -NTU X NYCU X TMU- 20230303 

Here are some feedbacks from our first-year Ph.D student, Getnet Mastewal Endeshaw from Ethiopia. 🇪🇹

Joint seminars allow us for a wider exchange of information and ideas, bringing together from different backgrounds(countries) to share our experiences and perspectives. This can lead to a deeper understanding of the topic being discussed and can help to generate new ideas and solutions. This joint seminar can increase networking opportunities for Students.  Attendees have the chance to meet and connect with others who share similar interests and goals can be a powerful tool for sharing knowledge and opportunity for students to learn from each other's experiences.

Joint seminars for students from different countries can help to promote global learning and international understanding. By learning from each other, students can become more aware of global issues. can also help to facilitate networking and development opportunities. Students can meet and connect with peers from different countries and build relationships that may lead to future collaborations.

A joint seminar at Taipei medical university, students signed up in different groups based on our interest of our future works. I was in Environmental and climate change group. My group members were from different globe such as from Africa, Indonesia, Marshal Iceland. We discussed or share ideas on different main points. The first was about Health impacts of extreme events and air pollutions and its health outcomes example: - respiratory disease, cardio vascular disease and cancer. The 2^nd was Agricultural practices and climate induced migration like bombing test aquatic pollution, toxic chemicals, radiations that increase sea level and affect sea food and economy of island countries. The 3^rd was solutions for pollutants such as carbon emission reduction strategies develop high tech methods and work with government, policy makers   to manage these pollutants. Over all the discussion was provide a unique opportunity for students to collaborate, learn from each other ,sharing knowledge and should be continued.

Overall, joint seminars provide a unique opportunity for students to collaborate, learn from each other, for sharing knowledge, building relationships and advance knowledge in their field. By facilitating a wider exchange of information and ideas. And can have a significant impact on research.
